Feature Requests

Some people are touchy about privacy. I can see it being useful to allow users to use a username instead of defaulting to First & Last name as their community profile.

LOVING the new internal CF Community! So much value in some of the posts, for now and for later. I'd love a way to "save" or "toggle" them to refer back to...for this community and for the one I'm planning for next year. 😁 Even if just a list of saved posts by title for reference and to link back. Something more than just a search option across the whole community? Would also be a great option for anyone (or a team) overseeing a community with need to refer back to posts quickly, for example, as a weekly round-up of shared ideas or similar. Or to highlight posts in need of moderation or follow-up.

There should be a way to restrict the Community Search feature to just one group. Yes it's nice to search all groups, but when you are asking a specific question that really only applies in one Group, having the same term returned from the other groups makes it difficult to go through and find the results for only the Group where your answer will be.

To work like Facebook for all in the community to receive an email notification when a post is made.

We can already do this from the contact's profile, but adding an easier way to do this from the community admin/moderator view would be very nice.

Please add a timestamp on the notifications. If I go in and read comments, and then forget to Mark All Read because I'm still in the same session... when I go back I can't tell if something is recent or not.

Ability to hide member count from the members, probably in "Group" settings.

I'm sure that CF have customers in all the world, so it could be great to have the option to change the language in the default community dashboard to make easier to the people that doesn't speak english. For me that I've many course in Italian and most of my students are +50 years old it could be a great option (and also an easy one). Thanks

I know this is a big one but loving the community and the way it looks like Circle ... how amazing would it be if our clients could download an app and interact with one another like how Circle works... and we get notifications too - this would be awesome! :)

The comments option under the community posts does not have the option to make links clickable or to insert links. It'd be great if this could be implemented. Possibly using rich text editor or simply converting links to clickable hyperlinks.
