Affiliate Center Lifetime Commissions
Alex Ford
It would be amazing to see a lifetime commissions option for the affiliate center.
For example, if an affiliate refers a new customer, all future purchases from that customer will generate a commission for the affiliate, regardless of which product the customer buys.
That is a great feature that would make ClickFunnels users' affiliate programs more attractive, as affiliates will be able to earn more from the same customers they have referred.

Sticky Cookie for Affiliates
huai en tsai
Currently, ClickFunnels does not have a built-in lifetime sticky cookie feature for affiliate tracking. This means that if an affiliate refers a lead who does not purchase immediately but returns later (even through another funnel), the original affiliate may lose the commission.
To maximize fairness and reward affiliates for their marketing efforts, we request the implementation of a Lifetime Sticky Cookie option. This would ensure that once an affiliate refers a lead, they receive commissions for all future purchases made by that customer across all funnels under the same ClickFunnels account—regardless of when the purchase happens.
Key Benefits:
✅ Guaranteed Lifetime Commissions: Affiliates continue to earn commissions on all future purchases from their referrals, even if the customer buys months or years later.
✅ Stronger Affiliate Retention: Affiliates will have greater incentive to promote ClickFunnels offers, knowing they are securing long-term commissions.
✅ Maximizes Revenue for Affiliates & ClickFunnels Users: With a lifetime cookie, affiliates will be motivated to drive higher-quality traffic, resulting in more sales.
How It Would Work:
When an affiliate refers a lead, a sticky cookie is placed on the visitor’s browser and tied to their email/IP.
This cookie never expires, ensuring that all future purchases from that customer (across all funnels in the same ClickFunnels account) are attributed to the original affiliate.
The cookie should override only if the user signs up under another affiliate with explicit re-attribution rules.
The feature should be toggleable, allowing ClickFunnels users to choose between standard cookie durations (30, 60, 90 days) or a lifetime option.
Suggested Implementation:
Add a Lifetime Sticky Cookie setting in the affiliate settings panel.
Ensure tracking is tied to the user's email address in addition to browser cookies for greater accuracy.
Allow users to choose between standard duration (30, 60, 90 days) or lifetime tracking in their affiliate settings.
Enable a Lifetime Commission model so affiliates get credit for any purchase their referral makes in the future.

Hey Alex Ford, thank you for making this request. This sounds like something our platform already has. If you click at the bottom left corner, you'll see the option to access your affiliate center and there you will see your all time stats including lifetime commissions.
If you mean something else other than this, please drop some screenshots of where you are referring to and where you would like to see this added. Thanks! Looking forward to your response.

Hi David Lamoureux (Product Support Analyst), thanks for this. However, this is not what I'm referring to. This is for lifetime commission "stats".
I took the following from another platform's help article for their lifetime commissions feature.
"Lifetime Commissions - Enabling Lifetime Commissions links a customer to an affiliate, allowing the linked affiliate to receive a commission on all future purchases by the customer. Keep this option disabled if you want affiliates to be able to earn commissions for sales on already referred customers."
So for example, let's say Bob buys a $5 product through my affiliate Johnny. Johnny gets a commission. And from now onwards, Bob will be linked (as a customer) to Johnny (as an affiliate) forever.
In the future, when Bob buys another product, let's say product B for $1000, Johnny gets a 40% commission. In 2 years, when Bob buys a different product, Johnny gets a commission.
And therefore Johnny will get a commission from any of Bob's purchases forever.
This would require for Bob's email address he purchased with to be linked to Johnny forever.
This is a common feature with platforms like FirstPromoter. It would be better to not have to use a third-party app for this.
I hope that makes sense!

Alex Ford: Thank you for clarifying. I am in conversations with our dev team about this. Nothing to update you on at the moment, other than I have brought it up and we are discussing it.
