When I create a workflow and then run a test of the sequence, it records the test in the statistics for the automation.

So for example, I created a new workflow, sent myself a test, made an edit, sent myself another test, did it again and now it says the automation has been triggered 4 times.

Only 1 of those 4 is an actual real life run with an intended client and the other 3 were my test runs.

I would suggest that tests don't count towards the automation statistics as it skews results.
