Show first payment in cart on Upgrade

When a customer does an upgrade on a recurring payment they are credited what ever they have paid that month at the lower level AND only pay a prorated payment for the rest of the first billing period.
It would be great if the customer knew in the shopping cart (obviously they would have to be logged in) what the first prorated payment was going to be.

- Can you provide more details on how you envision the prorated payment information being displayed in the shopping cart?
- Would you like this feature to be available for all types of upgrades or only specific ones?
- Are there any other details you think should be included in the shopping cart along with the prorated payment information?

The suggestion came from one of my customers. I created a video to help them understand how the payment would be processed. (You can see that here: https://vimeo.com/935113583)
When she was checking out she had two option. Upgrade to monthly or annual.
Maybe something along the lines of:
"You will be charged the prorated amount of $x today and will be billed the full $x on [normal rebill date]
