I can't actually access what kind of emails people get when booking an appointment which is a bummer. I can create a workflow with the trigger "appointment booked" and then "send an email" BUT there are no merge tags for things like "event start time", etc.

After installing message hub, I set event notifications for appointments but those are reminder emails, not actual confirmations. (also, those don't really allow for much customization either)
