Create Custom Field in Opportunities
Enoch Leffingwell
I'd like the ability to add any notes into a custom text box property connected with my opportunity. Particularly I have a notion URL I'd like to connect to each opportunity. But also the ability to describe in more detail or give more context to an opportunity the better.

Hey Enoch Leffingwell Thank you for your feedback and adding this request. That's a great suggestion! We'll be sure to keep this open for others to vote on and for our dev team for review.
Just for clarity, are you saying you would like to add custom field notes to the opportunity after it is made, or are you looking for your contacts to be able to optin with some custom fields, and that populate on the opportunity cards?
Enoch Leffingwell
David Lamoureux (Product Support Analyst) Honestly I am interested in both. This particular request is so I can have a custom field like how contacts have a custom attribute I would like a custom property that I can provide info like a template that populates on my opportunity when it's created. Does that make more sense?

Enoch Leffingwell: Yes, that makes sense. It sounds like you mean my 2nd option mostly, where your contacts would be able to optin and add some custom field answers, and that populate on the opportunity cards.

David Lamoureux (Product Support Analyst) I understand your 2 options better. So I'm talking about your first option. I mostly mean manually adding information in on the backend that my appointment setters can see. The data I'm particularly referring to now is internal data that helps my team navigate the situation better. I think having info that the customer can auto-populate fits better under my request you recently merged in having required questions before scheduling that the answers could be added ad custom attributes if we wanted. But this request is about data that I put in there. I'm just saying what will auto populate is the blank property that says like "URL" then the custom field is empty. So I can paste my back end URL that will help my team navigate our CRM better.

Enoch Leffingwell: I see. Thank you for your detailed response. Apologies I did not see this till now.
Something that can be done now is you can manually add custom attributes to a contact's profile. Just be sure to create the attribute before hand so it will populate.
