In it's current state, the lesson comments in courses are not only useless, but it directly harms the user experience. We have no way to be notified of comments and thus reply / show that we care.

The only way to keep up is to get into each lesson and see if there are new comments.

Please make the lesson comments useful by at the minimum adding a notification for the admin - at least on the dashboard, ideally also by email with a link to the lesson.

Ideally, I would like to see a comments centre where I would see all new comments and be able to reply from there.

And of course the user who got a reply to their comments should also get an email notification.
