I am surprised the default is "0"...that just seems like it has zero benefit and could hurt conversion rates.
Every other eCommerce site I've purchase from always defaults the quantity to "1"

The force quantity (min/max) function in funnels checkout defaults to 0,2,4. There is no other way to adjust these quantities, so its currently unusable.
