Feature Requests

I was so excited when you added a community feature to the customer center! My Customers utilize voice notes in community engagement as a major part of their offer. Could we please have a voice recording microphone option in the community spaces?

When browsing the Community, pinned posts currently appear at the top of the main Community feed. It would be great if we could have the option to change this, so that pinned posts only appear within their specific group, and the main feed remains sorted from newest to oldest. In other words, pinned posts should be displayed at the top of their respective group feed only, without being pinned in the overall Community feed. Alternatively, if there’s a section where I can add a description of the group without needing to post it, that would be incredibly helpful. Also, it seems like I can only post a description to a topic, not a group. It would be wonderful if there were a description feature for each group as well, so members can better understand the focus of each group without needing to post it.

Is it possible to get an editor for the community so the layout can be customised like adjusting the font or colour to match our business style?

I'd like to request a feature that would significantly enhance the experience for our community members. Specifically, I’d love to have the ability to: Automatic access to selected digital products for anyone joining our community should appear immediately in their personal dashboard or library. Auto-distribution of future digital products — whenever we add a new product intended for the community, it should automatically be added to the accounts of all existing community members, without any manual steps. This would streamline our operations and ensure a smoother experience for members while keeping everything centralized and efficient.

Non community members who are sent to our public communities should receive a pop up " Join " or " Sign In" request once they attempt to engage with any community post (ex., like, comment, SAVE?) This will allow us to get more engaged leads in our communities and also our CRM. This will allow the post itself to function as a type of lead magnet getting new members in our system. I was checking on my community privacy settings from an incognito tab and when i went to click LIKE or COMMENT buttons .. NOTHING happened... I was confused... almost thinking the website froze or something!! If i had been a random user i personally would have just left I believe it is very important to have a CTA at that point of engagement where they want to be apart of the community but they need to know what to do next with some type of simple pop up join request

It would be awesome to have a URL slot for YouTube. Also, if possible, can the bio input section be expanded a bit so it is more of a long-form input field vs the single-line version that is currently there? Thank you!

Currently, pinned posts take up a significant amount of scrolling space within communities, which can sometimes make it difficult for users to quickly access recent discussions and engage with new content. While pinned posts serve an important purpose in highlighting key announcements, resources, or guidelines, their current display can feel overwhelming, especially when multiple posts are pinned at once. Would it be possible to explore a more efficient way to organize and display pinned posts without taking up too much space? Some potential solutions could include: • Collapsible or Expandable Section: Instead of displaying all pinned posts in full, they could be housed in a collapsible or expandable section at the top of the community feed, allowing users to expand and view them when needed. • Pinned Post Carousel or Tab: Pinned posts could be placed in a dedicated tab or horizontal scrolling carousel at the top of the feed, keeping them accessible without disrupting the main content flow. • Priority Pinning & Auto-Minimization: Community owners could have the option to select a single “featured” pinned post that remains visible, while additional pinned posts are minimized into a dropdown or sidebar. The goal is to ensure that important content remains easy to find while allowing for a smoother browsing experience. I’d love to hear if this is something that could be considered or if there are other ideas in the works for improving how pinned posts are displayed.

I am looking to select all the contacts in a Community group and add a tag to all of them. Right now, the only way to do this (without a filter and multiselect) is pull up the members list in the community in a separate tab, then find them on the list of all community members and open each contact individually and apply the tag. Adding this will save members time.

It would be AMAZING if some posts can be shown to certain members by connecting tags and other filters. For example, this would allow us to recommend or promote one of our products but only show it to people that have not yet purchased it...and thus it would not be shown to anyone that has purchased it.

I would love for there to be options where people inside my community can manage multiple notification settings such as receiving an email and/or text message when someone comments on their post, replies to one of their comments, a new post within the group is posted, etc. Right now there's only a "Digital Email" that sends daily to notify of unread community notifications which seems broad. But more importantly, this is only for contacts that have "opted in" and I'm not sure if they are or are not...or where they'd even go to opt-in for that.
